Linking Obstetricians and Pediatricians

Rita Dadiz, D.O., moved to the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Department of Pediatrics from the University of Miami in 2007. She is a member of the Division of Neonatology. Dadiz has established an innovative quality improvement research program aimed at determining the best way to hone interactive and cross-disciplinary communication skills in obstetricians and pediatricians in the setting of emergency and delivery room medicine. She has taken maximum advantage of the evolving and expanding simulation program at URMC and was recently named a Dean’s Teaching Fellow of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
